Location for Photography & Film

Throughout the seasons, Cruden Farm is a very photogenic location for photography and filming. To manage the requests we receive, filming and photography is only allowed once approval has been granted and a Permit has been issued by Cruden Farm.

Please note that the flying of kites, model planes, helicopters and drones is strictly prohibited anywhere at Cruden Farm. Permission for such activities will not be granted for non-commercial filming but may be considered for a commercial project.

Visitors

If you are a visitor to Cruden Farm and you just want to take photos or film around the property for your personal use, you will not need a permit.

Students

If you wish to shoot footage of Cruden Farm for a school or education project, you must complete an application for a Film/Photography Permit at least two weeks before the date you want to be at Cruden Farm.  No filming or photography is to take place without an approved Permit from Cruden Farm.

If your total cast and crew exceed four people and you will be using more than a single camera and microphone, you will have to apply for a Commercial Permit.

Prior to filling out the application form, please refer to our terms and conditions.

Professional Photography

A fee will be charged for photography or filming.
